2026 Summer Programs 

Enrollment Opens March 1st!!

Our summer camps are full of activities and hands-on projects that help us to connect, utilize, enjoy, and learn from the gifts of Nature.​

Saplings

Ages 3-5/Potty-trained (Exceptions can be made for children with special needs. Please inquire for specifics)

 

This summer we are excited to be offering 3 Nature camps for Pre-K kids!  During these camps, we will explore our connection to nature through open-ended play using natural materials, as well as engaging with the forest and garden through activities designed to foster connection and appreciation for the natural world.

Dates and Rates

4 half-day camps: Monday-Thursday 9-1; $295/week (Materials and T-shirt Included) *Sliding scale tuition available, please contact us for more details

  •   Plant Power Camp! Dates TBD :  Learning, crafting, gardening, and playing with plants!

  •   Flowers and Fairies Camp!  Dates TBD:  Flower art, fairy houses, the magic and wonder of playing in the forest and garden â€‹

  •   Insects and Animals Camp! Dates TBD: Learning and observing Lummi Island insects and animals with games, arts and crafts, science projects, and more!

Music in Nature Camp

Dates:

In this program, campers will learn how to create and connect with music in nature through:

​​

  • Exploring the tonality of various objects in nature

  • Exploring sounds and how the natural world uses sound to communicate

  • Crafting musical instruments from natural materials

  • Learning to recognize and mimic natural rhythms found in our environment

  • Combining the music of nature and contemporary music 

  • Playing music and nature based movement/group building games

Stewards of the Earth Camp

In this program, campers will learn to harness a deeper connection with nature by learning valuable Earth skills and engaging in hands-0n projects that harness our human potential to be stewards of the planet.  In this newly added camp we will be: 

​

  • Learning to cultivate our own healthy food:  the basics of Biodynamic/organic gardening, composting, pollination, healthy soil, seed saving, and food preservation.

  • Learning basic Earth survival skills such as plant identification and foraging (including wild food and medicine making), shelter building, cordage making, and more!

  • Learning the value of upcycling and recycling by repurposing old items into something new

  • Learning to use STEM and innovation to brainstorm, design, and develop sustainable stewardship ideas and inventions  

  • Playing Nature movement/group building games

Nature Arts and Crafts Camp

In this program campers will learn to create stunning pieces of art using natural materials.  Activities may include:

​

  • Learning to needle and wet felt with wool

  • Learning the basics of weaving and constructing a simple loom â€‹

  • Learning to make nature prints and paints â€‹

  • Learning to work with air dry clay â€‹

  • Playing Nature movement/group building games
